Scientific Research Achievements
Dr. Zhou’s lab focuses on the extraction, biosynthesis, efficacy, mechanism investigation, and utilization of functional molecules derived from medicinal and edible homologous sources. These work have been supported by 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 sub-project under the National Key R&D Program, and 4 provincial/ministerial-level projects. Over the past three years, more than 20 SCI papers have been published as first author or corresponding author in top journals, including Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Food Hydrocolloids, and Carbohydrate Polymers. Among these publications, 2 have been recognized as ESI highly cited papers, 6 have been featured as cover articles, and 6 have achieved an impact factor exceeding 10.
