His research focuses on dietary fibers (polysaccharides) and bound polyphenols, resulting in a series of related studies. He has published over 80 SCI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author (mostly in Q1 TOP journals) and has been recognized as a "World's Top 2% Scientist."
