Personal Information 

Tu Zongcai, male, Han nationality, born in 1965, from Jing’an, Jiangxi Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a postgraduate degree, and has a Doctorate. He currently serves as a standing committee member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Nanchang University, as well as a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is a national-level candidate for the “New Century Hundred Thousand Talents Project,” an expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, a national outstanding scientific and technological worker, a recipient of key projects from the National Natural Science Foundation, the chief scientist of the national “14th Five-Year” key R&D plan, the leader of the advantageous technology innovation team in Jiangxi Province, the leader of the province-level demonstration graduate supervisor innovation team, and a major academic and technological leader in Jiangxi Province.

Academic Achievements

Led 25 national-level projects (topics), including key projects from the National Natural Science Foundation and the national “14th Five-Year” key R&D plan, and 35 provincial and ministerial projects; published 9 monographs and over 400 papers, of which more than 300 are indexed in SCI/EI; received 56 authorized national invention patents; awarded 10 provincial and ministerial prizes, including the First Prize in Natural Science from Jiangxi Province, the Excellent Achievement Award in Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education for Higher Education Institutions, and the First Prize in Science and Technology Progress from Jiangxi Province; and received 3 First Prizes for Teaching Achievements in Jiangxi Province.
