Cui Xian, male, Doctor, member of the Communist Party of China, is an assistant researcher at Nanchang University and serves as a supervisor for professional master's degree candidates. He is also recognized as a provincial expert in science and technology support in Jiangxi Province. His research focuses on the resource utilization of biomass, including food resources. Over the past five years, he has led one sub-project under the National Key Research and Development Program, two provincial and ministerial-level projects, eleven government-enterprise collaborative projects, and one industry-university-research project funded by the Ministry of Education. He has contributed to the publication of more than 40 academic papers, with 26 published as first author or corresponding author, including 19 indexed by SCI, 4 by EI, and 3 in Chinese core journals. He holds seven national invention patents and one utility model patent. Dr. Cui has served as guest editor for international journals such as Foods and Sustainability, and as a member of the editorial boards of Journal of Future Foods and Contemporary Chemical Industry. His achievements have been recognized through multiple awards, including the Youth Cultivation Project of the Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, the Winner's Prize in the First National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and one gold medal, one silver medal and one bronze medal each in the 7th and 8th China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
