Information

Zhou Song, Professor and Doctoral/Master's Supervisor at Nanchang University. He holds a Ph.D. in Signal and Information Processing from Xidian University. From January 2015 to February 2018, he served as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He has been selected as a High-Level Talent of Jiangxi Province and a High-Level Talent of Nanchang University.

Research Directions and Achievements: Dr. Zhou has long been dedicated to research on high-precision intelligent microwave sensing technologies, with a focus on key areas including lightweight UAV radar imaging, cooperative UAV-swarm SAR sensing, integrated sensing and communication for the intelligent low-altitude domain, and millimeter-wave intelligent sensing. He has led 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (one Youth Science Fund and two Regional Science Funds), 8 provincial/ministerial-level or higher projects, as well as a sub-task of a Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology "Open Competition" (Jiebang Guashuai) major project and multiple industry-commissioned (horizontal) projects. His research is closely aligned with Jiangxi Province's "1269 Action Plan" and its "Low-Altitude Economy" development strategy, and he has carried out joint research and technology-transfer initiatives with several key enterprises in the province across application areas such as emergency rescue, intelligent transportation, security screening and protection, remote sensing and surveying, and health monitoring. He also serves as a review expert for major provincial and municipal science and technology projects, talent programs, and the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award.

Teaching and Talent Development: Committed to the deep integration of teaching and research, Dr. Zhou continually explores innovative models of education. He has led 2 Ministry of Education Industry-University Collaborative Education Projects. Under his supervision, students have won a total of 7 awards in national and provincial academic competitions, including national first prizes, provincial grand prizes, and provincial first and second prizes; he has also supervised 1 National-Level College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program project. Among his graduate students, 1 received the National Scholarship and 2 were awarded Outstanding Master's Thesis honors at Nanchang University, and 1 undergraduate received an Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis award. He is devoted to cultivating interdisciplinary talents who combine engineering practice skills with research and innovation potential.
