Personal Information
Dr. Junyi Yin received his B.Sc. degree in food science in 2007 from Nanchang University and received a Ph.D. degree in 2012 from Nanchang University. He joined Nanchang University as an assistant professor in 2012 and promoted to full professor in 2017. He has been studying or working at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (2010-2011), Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (2011-2012) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PostDoc fellow, 2017-2019). He serves as the Dean of the College of Food Science and Technology, Nanchang University, as well as the Director of the Sino-German Joint Research Institute. His primary research focuses on the structural chemistry and biology of polysaccharides, along with the food chemistry and nutrition. He also serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Food Frontiers (an ESCI-indexed journal). In recent years, he has led nearly 20 national and ministerial-level research projects. He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed articles, and holds more than 10 authorized national invention patents. His achievements have received multiple awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award, and the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award from the Ministry of Education.
