He received his Ph.D. in Optics from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2011. During his doctoral studies, he worked as an exchange scholar at Sogang University (South Korea), where he was fortunate to receive guidance from Prof. Yuen-Ron Shen (Member of the National Academy of Sciences, USA).
