Personal Information

Tan Dunqiang, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral), Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of Physics and Materials at Nanchang University, and Vice Dean of the Jiangxi Copper Group-Nanchang University Copper Industry Research Institute. He also serves as a consulting expert for key fields at the National Science and Technology Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, a member of the Materials and Digital Manufacturing Committee of the China Society of Technology Economics, and Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Ultra-High Temperature Metal New Materials Industry Innovation Alliance. He has presided over more than 30 projects, including three National Natural Science Foundation projects, "863" program topics, provincial-level major "unveiling and leading" projects, significant enterprise horizontal projects, and key achievement transformation projects. As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 100 academic papers domestically and internationally and holds 17 authorized national invention patents. He is an editorial board member of the journals *China Tungsten Industry*, *Copper Engineering*, and *C-Mat*. Aligned with national strategies and the development needs of Jiangxi's characteristic resource industries, he conducts research on the functionalization, intelligentization, and high-performance enhancement of ultra-high-temperature metal materials and copper-based functional materials. His work has addressed bottleneck issues in the use of metal materials under extreme and complex conditions, with innovative and commercially applied achievements in ultra-high-temperature temperature measurement functional materials, low-resistance low-temperature coefficient alloys, and high-purity refractory metal targets.
