Born in August 1964, Huping Yang obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Power System and Its Automation from Nanchang University in 1987 and her Master’s degree in the same major from Wuhan University in 2006. Currently, she serves as a Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the Department of Energy and Electrical Engineering, School of Information Engineering, Nanchang University. She is a member of Jiangxi Society for Electrical Engineering, a peer reviewer for Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems, and an expert reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has long been devoted to teaching and scientific research in power systems. She has presided over various research projects including NSFC regional projects, provincial research projects and enterprise cooperative projects, covering power generation right trading, regional power grid reactive power optimization, teaching reform of factory power supply courses, substation design, distribution network planning and relay protection evaluation systems. Up to now, she has published over 30 academic papers in journals and conferences.
