Yu Yunjun, male, holds a Ph.D. in Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanchang University. From 2015 to 2018, he was a postdoctoral fellow jointly recruited by Tsinghua University and the Jiangxi Provincial Electric Power Company. In 2016-2017, he was a visiting scholar at New York University in the United States. In 2010, he received the DAAD scholarship to conduct research at Ruhr-Bochum University in Germany, and in 2011, he was a visiting scholar at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Since August 2018, he has served as Deputy Director of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Research Institute at Nanchang University. In April 2021, he assumed the role of Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Digital Economy Society, and in October 2021, he became Deputy Director of the Digital Rural Committee of the Jiangxi Digital Economy Society. In December 2021, he was appointed as a director of the Jiangxi Investment Group. From February 2022 to November 2023, he served as Director of the Department of Automation at Nanchang University.

Engaged in long-term research on digital technology, including FPGA-based AI algorithm acceleration, digital ophthalmic image processing, smart grid technology, and digital rural development. Achievements have been applied in the fields of smart photovoltaic power generation, intelligent microgrids, and the realization of ecological product value through digital technology. Led one national international science and technology cooperation special project, one National Natural Science Foundation project, and five provincial/ministerial-level projects, while participating in multiple national-level projects. Published over 70 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI papers, filed over 30 national invention patents, with 8 grants awarded. Received the 2021 Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize), the 2007 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize), the IEEE RCAR 2018 Best Paper Award, and the Jiangsu Province Innovation and Entrepreneurship Team (2016-2019).
