Personal Information

Jingjing Meng is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Nanchang University, China. He serves as the Secretary-General of the 7th National Youth Engineering Risk Analysis and Control Symposium (ERAM2025), a member of the Academic Committee of the 1st National Particle Computing Academic Conference (PC2025), and a member of the Academic Committee of the Nordic Geotechnical Meeting (NGM2020). He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, a youth editorial board member of Deep Underground Science and Engineering and Rock Mechanics Bulletin, and a guest editor for Applied Rheology and the Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. Additionally, he has served as a reviewer for over 20 international mainstream geotechnical engineering and computational geomechanics journals.

He has led and completed one research project funded by the Swedish Transport Administration and multiple projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has also co-led one project funded by the Australian Natural Science Foundation. In the fields of computational geomechanics, discrete element theory in contact dynamics, and slope stability analysis, he has achieved a series of research outcomes. He has published over 50 high-quality academic papers in internationally renowned SCI-indexed journals such as Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and EngineeringInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, and International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences.
