Dr. Deng Weimin graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with a doctorate in 2021. After that, he continued to engage in postdoctoral research at Sun Yat-sen University and joined Nanchang University in 2023. He has been engaged in theoretical and experimental research on the fundamental physics and device applications of artificial micro-nano structures for a long time. In recent years, he has mainly studied the photonic topological states and their applications in artificial microstructures, such as photonic crystals and metasurfaces. His works have been published in many high-quality academic journals, including Physical Review Letters, Light: Science & Applications, Laser & Photonics Reviews, ACS Photonics, Nanophotonics, Physical Review B, Physical Review Applied, Optics Letters, among which the PRL work has been selected as an ESI highly cited paper, and has been cited by multiple high-level papers from Nature journals, PRL, etc.; LSA work has been selected as a highlight work by the journal, and reported in full length. He has presented oral reports at domestic and foreign academic conferences such as the Progress in Electromagnetic Waves Conference (PIERS), the China Metamaterials Conference, the China Optical Academic Conference, the National Optical Youth Forum, and the International Multidisciplinary Conference on Optofluidics.
