Personal Information

Lizhen Deng, PhD., is an Associate Professor at Nanchang University. She has been conducting creative research and teaching in food and agricultural product processes. She has received 11 research grants, including funding from the National Natural Science Foundation and National Key Research and Development Program of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province, etc. She has authored more than 50 peer reviewed journal publications, 7 patents, 3 book chapters. All of her publications and presentations have been well received by academia. She has been selected for the "Ganpo Talents - Leading Talents in Universities" of Jiangxi Province, and the World’s Top 2% Scientists (2024, 2025). In addition, she received the First Prize of Teaching Achievement Award of Jiangxi Province (2023), and Second Prize in Teaching Innovation Competition of Nanchang University (2023). She also serves as a Guest Editor for Foods, Agriculture, and as a Reviewer for Food Hydrocolloids, Food Chemistry, Drying Technology, etc.
