Huang Yuxing, male, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Tutor of Nanchang University, Secretary-General of the Overseas Chinese Federation of Nanchang University, Member of the Grassroots Committee of Jiusan Society of Nanchang University, and Chairman of the Fourth Branch of Jiusan Society. He has been selected as a Double Innovation Talent of Jiangsu Province, a Young Introduced Talent of the Double Thousand Plan of Jiangxi Province, a Young Jinggang Scholar of Jiangxi Province, a High-Level Introduced Talent of Jiangxi Province, and a Ganjiang Young Scholar. Currently, he is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC), a Member of the Chinese Chemical Society, a Member of the Chinese Chemical Engineering Society, a Member of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Teaching Committee of Institutions of Higher Education under the China Machinery Industry Education Association, an Expert of the Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Expert Database, an Expert of the Guangdong University Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Expert Database, a Think Tank Expert of Nanchang Science and Technology Innovation, a Young Editorial Board Member of Chinese Journal of Synthetic Chemistry, and an Editorial Board Member of Contemporary Chemical Industry.He graduated from China Agricultural University in 2007 and was admitted to the National Base Class for Fundamental Scientific Research and Teaching Talent Training in Chemistry. In 2010, he obtained a Master of Science degree in Pesticide Science, a national key discipline of China Agricultural University. In 2015, he received his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Debye Institute for Nanomaterials Science, Utrecht University, the Netherlands, under the supervision of Professor Robertus J. M. Klein Gebbink, Head of the Department of Chemistry at Utrecht University and Chairman of the Organic Chemistry Committee of the Royal Netherlands Chemical Society, and was awarded the title of Catalytic Researcher by the Netherlands Institute for Catalysis Research (NIOK). In the same year, he joined the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) and the National Center for Outstanding Research in Carbon Dioxide Activation at Aarhus University, Denmark, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, supervised by Professor Troels Skrydstrup, Member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, Member of the Danish Academy of Natural Sciences, and Member of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences.He returned to China in 2016 and worked as a Joint Postdoctoral Researcher at the Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shenzhen University, collaborating with Researcher Fang Xinqiang (recipient of the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and National Young Thousand Talents Program) and Associate Professor Zhang Junmin (recipient of the Shenzhen Peacock Talent Program). Since 2019, he has been working at Nanchang University, with his main research interests focusing on the development of photo/electrocatalysts based on advanced materials and their applications in interdisciplinary fields such as green chemistry and new energy.Up to now, he has published more than 20 SCI papers as corresponding author or first author in renowned journals including Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Science Bulletin, Advanced Functional Materials, and ACS Catalysis. He has presided over and undertaken a number of research projects, such as the Science and Technology Innovation Commission Foundation of Shenzhen, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.His awards and honors include: Second Prize of the Bao'an Division of the Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2017; Certificate of Outstanding Reviewer of Journal of Hazardous Materials (Elsevier) in 2018; Second Prize in the Teaching Competition of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanchang University in 2019; Guiding students to win one First Prize and one Second Prize in the 10th University Chemistry Experiment Competition of Nanchang University in 2019; Guiding one national-level college student innovation and entrepreneurship training program project each year from 2019 to 2021; Third Prize in the Team Category of the Shenzhen Specialized, Refined, Special and New Enterprise Competition of Maker China in 2020; Admission to the Global Young Talent Seminar of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Talent Work in 2020; Guiding students to win the Second Prize in the Jiangxi Provincial Microstructure Photography Competition in 2021; First Prize in the Curriculum Ideological and Political Case Teaching Competition of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanchang University in 2021; Second Prize in the Teaching Competition of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanchang University in 2021; Guiding teams to win one Gold Award, one Silver Award and one Bronze Award in the final of the 7th "Internet +" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of China in 2021; and First Place of Merit Award in the 1st National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2021.
