Huan Liu, Ph.D., Professor and Doctoral Advisor, serves as Vice Dean of School of Food Science at Nanchang University and permanent member of State Key Laboratory of Food Science and Resources, Nanchang University, China. Selected for provincial talent programs. Serves as member of Food and Nutrition Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Agronomy, council member of Jiangxi Food Association, review expert for the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center, and member of Nanchang Youth Workers Association. Mainly engages in targeted delivery of functional bioactive substances and structure–activity relationship of biomacromolecules. Presided ten national and provincial projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Sub-project of National Key R&D Program of Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Sub-project of Key R&D Projects in Agricultural Science and Technology under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Key R&D Program of Jiangxi Province, Demonstration Projects for Pilot Program of Lump-sum System in Jiangxi Provincial Fiscal Science and Technology Special Projects, and Chongqing Natural Science Foundation. Led six education-related projects, including Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Reform Research Project and Jiangxi Provincial Graduate Student Innovation Special Program, hosted over 13 industry–university collaborative projects. Awarded one Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress First Prize. Published over forty academic papers as first author or corresponding author in SCI top journals such as Food Hydrocolloids, Food Chemistry, and Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, including two ESI Highly Cited Papers. Holds over twenty granted Chinese patents and one granted U.S. invention patent.
