Huang Mengxi is a faculty member in the Department of Engineering Mechanics at the School of Engineering Construction. He holds a Ph.D. in Solid Mechanics from the University of Science and Technology of China. He is primarily responsible for teaching foundational courses such as Engineering Mechanics and specialized courses including Elastic Mechanics. All the courses he teaches have been recognized as Provincial-Level First-Class Undergraduate Courses, and he has repeatedly received the Outstanding Teaching Quality Award from Nanchang University. His teaching has been selected for three National Excellent Curriculum Ideology and Politics Cases in Mechanics-related Majors. He also contributed to the compilation of the textbook Engineering Mechanics Experiment Tutorial.

His accolades include the Second Prize in the 7th National Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition in Fundamental Mechanics, the Second Prize in the 8th National Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition in Structural Mechanics and Elastic Mechanics Courses, the First Prize in the Engineering Category of the 5th Jiangxi Provincial Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition for Undergraduate Institutions, and the Second Prize in the 3rd Jiangxi Provincial University Teachers’ Teaching Innovation Competition. He has been recognized multiple times with the Outstanding Instructor Award in the National Zhou Peiyuan University Students Mechanics Competition. In 2022, he was named one of the Top Ten Teaching Models at Nanchang University.
