Professor Dingcheng Yang, Vice Dean and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Information Engineering, Nanchang University. He serves as a Committee Member of the Standardization Committee of China Institute of Communications, Vice Chairman of Jiangxi Electronic Society, Standing Director of Jiangxi Institute of Communications, Deputy Director of Jiangxi Internet of Things Standardization Technical Committee, and Deputy Secretary-General of Jiangxi Digital Integration Science and Technology Innovation Consortium.

His core research focuses on key technologies in wireless communication, mobile Internet of Things, industrial Internet and artificial intelligence. He has presided over four National Natural Science Foundation Projects, as well as more than ten provincial and ministerial-level research programs including the Special Support Program for China Postdoctoral Researchers, Jiangxi Provincial Key R&D Programs under the "Challenge-Based Project System" and major scientific and technological research projects of Jiangxi Province.

He has published over 60 high-quality academic papers in top journals such as IEEE Transactions, among which two are ESI Highly Cited Papers. Under his supervision, students have won one Gold Award, one Silver Award and one Bronze Award in the China International "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, as well as one National Bronze Award in the "Challenge Cup" Competition.

Professor Yang has been awarded the honorary titles of Jiangxi Provincial "Golden Young Teacher" and Excellent Teacher of Baosteel Education Fund. He won the Second Prize of Teaching Achievement Award from the China Institute of Electronics (first completer) and the Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award (first completer). He was selected for the Jiangxi "Double Thousand Talents Program" and Jiangxi Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project. In terms of scientific and technological awards, he has received one First Prize and two Second Prizes of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. Besides, he has been listed in the 2024 and 2025 Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists.
