Liu Qiegen. Recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars; Professor and Doctoral Supervisor; IEEE Senior Member; Executive Dean of the School of Information Engineering, Nanchang University.


His research focuses on system development and algorithm research in intelligent imaging and visual display. He has co-authored over 200 papers in *Nature* sub-journals, *IEEE Transactions*, and authoritative journals in the fields of imaging and visual display, garnering more than 6,000 citations on Google Scholar. He has contributed to the writing of six monographs and textbooks. He serves as a committee member for dozens of domestic and international academic organizations—including the IEEE and the Chinese Society of Stereology—and acts as an editorial board member for journals such as *IEEE TMI*, *Journal of Electronics & Information Technology*, *Acta Photonica Sinica*, and *CT Theory and Applications*. He has led over 30 projects, including tasks under the National Key R&D Program, the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) joint funds, Jiangxi Provincial Key R&D Programs, "Jiebang Guashuai" (open competition) projects, and collaborations with Huawei. He has received eight science and technology awards—including the First Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award, the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award from the China Society of Image and Graphics, and the First Prize of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Technology Invention Award—and has earned nearly ten honors, such as the Young Scientist and Technologist Award from the Chinese Society of Stereology and inclusion in the list of the world's top 2% scientists.
