Scientific Research
Research Overview
The research direction is aquatic biology; studies have been conducted on the taxonomy, ecology and phylogeny of aquatic animal diseases, especially parasitic worms and parasites of aquatic animals. A comprehensive study has been carried out on the relationship between parasitic mites and their hosts in freshwater mollusks; the research on the 12SrRNA gene sequence changes of parasitic mites has been completed, and the genetic relationship between them has been determined from the changes in DNA sequence. Moreover, through the comparative analysis of their molecular system relationships and phylogenetic branching systems, it provides a theoretical basis for conducting population genetics research on parasitic mites. Currently, research has been carried out on immune-related enzyme activities and immune genes in fish and freshwater mollusks.
