Zhang Aisheng: male, born on December 13,1962; native place: Xinjian District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province; Han ethnicity; member of China Jiusan Society; currently a professor and master's supervisor at the School of Physics and Materials, Nanchang University, expert reviewer for Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Projects and Jiangxi High-tech Enterprises, reviewer for journals such as "Rare Metal Materials and Engineering", and head of the Jiangxi Provincial Excellent Course and Excellent Online Network Course "Modern Testing and Analysis Techniques for Materials".
From September 1980 to July 1984, he studied at the Department of Metal Materials, Hefei University of Technology, majoring in Casting, and obtained a bachelor's degree.
From July 1984 to August 1986, I worked as an Assistant Engineer at the Foundry Division of Chongqing Hongyan Machinery Factory, Ministry of Mechanical Industry.
From September 1986 to June 1989, I pursued postgraduate studies in the Casting Specialty at the Materials Department of Northwestern Polytechnical University, where I earned my Master's degree.
From June 1989 to December 1997, he worked at Jiangxi Provincial Mechanical Industry Design and Research Institute as an engineer and senior engineer.
December 1997 – August 1999: Senior Engineer at the Project Promotion Office, Science and Technology Division, Jiangxi Provincial Planning Commission.
Since beginning my teaching career, I have been responsible for delivering core platform courses in materials science, including "Materials Properties" and "Materials Testing and Analysis Techniques" for both undergraduate and graduate programs, while also managing teaching administration and educational reform initiatives. To date, I have supervised over thirty master's students. I spearheaded the provincial-level quality project "Materials Science and Engineering" specialty development and multiple provincial teaching reform projects. The online courseware I developed for "Materials Analysis and Testing Techniques" was awarded the First Prize in the Third Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Multimedia Teaching Courseware Competition. Additionally, the course "Modern Materials Testing and Analysis Techniques" I developed was recognized as both a Jiangxi Provincial Excellent Course and an Excellent Online Course.
In scientific research, leveraging the province's resource advantages in non-ferrous metal materials, we specialize in studies and technical services focused on solidification structure control, process optimization, and performance enhancement. We have led or participated in multiple national and provincial-level research projects, including "High-Strength High-Toughness Aluminum-Silicon Alloy (A357) and Process Development," "Research on Yttrium-Based Heavy Rare Earth Copper Alloy Additives," and "High-Strength High-Conductivity Rare Earth Copper Alloy Lead Frame Electronic Materials." Additionally, we actively provide technical services to local enterprises, collaborating with Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd., Nanchang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Yongte Alloy Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Ga' an Luxi Machinery Group Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Fengxin Urban Resources Co., Ltd. We have completed ten enterprise-level projects, such as "Magnesium-Lithium Alloy Sheet Rolling and Heat Treatment Process Research" and "Spring Steel Fracture Failure Analysis." Over 40 research papers have been published in domestic core journals, and two national invention patents have been granted, all of which have been successfully commercialized.
Main research areas:
1. Control of Solidification Microstructure and Improvement of Properties of Nonferrous Alloys
2. Metal Material Forming Technology
3. Block amorphous alloys, high-entropy alloys, high-entropy amorphous alloys
