He is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Physics and Materials, Nanchang University; the Second Convener of Jiangxi Lithium Industry Technology Innovation Consortium, the Person in Charge of Jiangxi Key Laboratory of Lithium Battery Materials and Applications at Nanchang University, and the Leader of the Energy Materials and Devices Team at the School of Physics and Materials, Nanchang University. His main research focuses on new energy materials and devices; he has presided over 6 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 first batch of "New Engineering" research and practice projects of the Ministry of Education, 1 major science and technology project of Jiangxi Province ("2030 Pioneer Project"), and 5 projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province; he has participated in more than 50 scientific research projects at all levels including the National Key R&D Program as a core member. He has published more than 180 papers, including over 100 SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author; he has been authorized more than 20 national invention patents. He has won awards such as the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award, the Jiangxi Provincial University Science and Technology Achievement Award, the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, and the Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.
