Li Yangsheng, male, born in 1970, is a native of Yujiang County, Jiangxi Province. He serves as a professor at the School of Physics and Materials Science, Nanchang University, where he heads the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Additionally, he holds the positions of Vice Chairman of the National College Students 'Metallographic Skills Competition Committee and Secretary-General of the Jiangxi College Students' Metallographic Skills Competition Committee. As a distinguished expert at Wisdom Tree Higher Education Research Institute and a technical advisor for Xuetang Online, he is also a national-level chess coach and first-class national referee. Furthermore, he serves as an executive committee member and standing council member of the Youth Technical Training Committee under the Jiangxi Chess Association.
He has been honored as the leader of national first-class courses and programs, head of Jiangxi Province's high-level teaching team, and recipient of multiple prestigious awards including Baosteel National Outstanding Teacher, Ministry of Education's "Smart Teaching Star", Jiangxi Provincial Gold Medal Professor (Distinguished Educator), and Jiangxi Provincial Master Teacher Studio Leader. His accolades also include being named among Nanchang University's inaugural Top Ten Teaching Pioneers, Second Moral Education Pioneer, and First Teaching Excellence Award winner. He has received the ZTE Development Teaching Award, First Jiangling Teaching Award, and Weilin Teaching Award.
As a chief editor, he has authored 4 textbooks and contributed to 4 others. His academic achievements include 3 national first-class courses, 6 provincial first-class courses, and 2 provincial virtual simulation courses. He has received 3 awards in the National Multimedia Courseware Competition and 4 awards in Jiangxi Province's higher education multimedia courseware competition. His teaching accomplishments include a second prize in Jiangxi Province's Teaching Achievement Awards, first place in the senior faculty category of the 2021 First National College Teachers 'Teaching Innovation Competition (Jiangxi Division), third place in the final senior faculty category for central government-affiliated universities, and first prize in the Second Smart Tree Cup National Competition for Ideological and Political Education in Course Teaching. He has also mentored students to win over 30 awards in the National College Students' Metallographic Skills Competition and more than 70 provincial-level awards.
Engaging with society and stepping beyond campus: Over 100 lectures have been delivered to more than 100 universities across the province and beyond, covering topics such as enhancing teaching skills, smart education, blended learning, first-class course development, and ideological and political education in courses.
