Zhilu Chang, Special Researcher. The main research focuses on the analysis of landslide failure mechanisms, intelligent risk assessment, and resilience prevention in the interdisciplinary fields of geological engineering, geotechnical engineering, and artificial intelligence. He currently serves as committee member of the Third Youth Forum under the Risk and Insurance Research Branch of China Civil Engineering Society, a member of the First Professional Committee for the Practical Application of Artificial Intelligence Technology within the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering, and a young editorial board member of the journals “Rock Mechanics Bulletin” and “Geoenvironmental Disasters”. Additionally, he is a peer reviewer for prominent journals including “Remote Sensing”, and “Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering”. He has led one National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program, both Youth and General Programs of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has also made significant contributions to four major vertical research projects, including two National General Programs, one Key Research and Development Program of Jiangxi Province, and one Innovation Group Program. To date, he has authored or co-authored over 40 academic publications related to landslide hazards in authoritative domestic and international journals, with 22 of these published as first or corresponding author in high-impact SCI/EI/CSCD-indexed journals such as “Engineering Geology”, “Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering”, “Landslides”, “Geoscience Frontiers”, “Gondwana Research”, etc. Eight publications have been recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers. His scholarly achievements have been honored with the First Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award (ranked third), the Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award (ranked fourth), and the Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award.
