Dr. Huang Dongsheng, Professor at the School of Architecture and Design, Nanchang University, Senior Landscape Architect, Deputy Director of the Nanchang University Linchuan Institute of Urban-Rural Development & Industrial Innovation, and Master's Supervisor at City University of Macau. Recognized as a High-Level Talent of Jiangxi Province and a Reserve Candidate for Academic and Technical Leader of Sichuan Province. In recent years he has led two National Social Science Fund projects, one Ministry of Education Social Science Fund project, one provincial social science project, four other ministerial-level grants and four departmental-level grants, and has served as a key member of over ten national or ministerial research programs. He has published two scholarly monographs and three co-authored books, plus more than forty refereed papers. While devoted to teaching and research, he actively contributes to society, having directed over a hundred industry-commissioned projects, with more than ten policy-consultation reports adopted by the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, provincial and municipal CPPCC committees, and other government agencies.

He has been appointed as a peer-review expert for the National Social Science Fund, an evaluation expert for provincial social science programs, a panel expert for the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, a specialist for the National Ethnic Affairs Commission on vernacular dwelling protection and construction, an expert of the China National Architecture Research Association, a national judge for the 4C Information Visualization Competition of the China Computer Design Contest, a jury member for the Future Designers and Oriental Design Awards, an expert in the National Postgraduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring Database, Vice Director of the 47th Professional Committee of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China, and an expert of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
