Kangkang Wei, male, holds a doctoral degree and serves as a master’s supervisor. He is currently a lecturer at the School of Software (Cyberspace Security School) of Nanchang University and the Deputy Director (on secondment) of the Nanchang University Science Park (Technology Transfer Center). He graduated from the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University with a major in Cyberspace Security, where he earned his Doctor of Engineering degree. He is a member of the Digital Media Forensics and Security Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG) and an executive committee member of the Network and System Security Committee of the China Computer Federation (CCF). In recent years, he has published nearly twenty academic papers in authoritative domestic and international academic journals and conferences in the field, such as IEEE TIFS, Journal of Software, and WIFS. He has also applied for multiple Chinese invention patents and software copyrights.
He has long been engaged in academic research in areas such as multimedia content security and artificial intelligence security, primarily focusing on information hiding analysis and multimedia forgery detection. He has led several projects, including the Youth Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province, open topics from national key laboratories, and key laboratory projects of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he has participated as a key contributor in multiple projects, such as joint projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, general projects, and horizontal projects from the Security Department of Alibaba Group. He serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for the journal <Intelligent Security> and a Young Editorial Board Member for <Journal of Hainan University (Natural Science Edition)>. He also acts as a reviewer for various domestic and international journals and conferences, including IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, IEEE TMM, ACM MM, and IJCAI. Under his guidance, undergraduate students have won multiple national first and second prizes in competitions such as the National Information Security Competition for College Students and the Great Wall Cup Triathlon, as well as several national-level College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program projects.
