Biographical Sketch:
Zhenzhen Gu (Ph.D.) was born in July 1988. She currently serves as an Associate Research Professor (Special Research Fellow) and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Software, Nanchang University. She received her B.S. degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2010 and earned her Ph.D. in Computer Software and Theory from the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2017 through a consecutive Master-PhD program. Following her doctoral studies, she conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Computing Technology, CAS, and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (Supervisor: Prof. Diego Calvanese, ACM/EurAI/AAIA Fellow), Italy, before joining Nanchang University in January 2024.
Dr. Gu’s research interests primarily encompass Knowledge Graphs (KG), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Big Data, with a particular focus on their synergistic integration, such as bidirectional enhancement between KGs and LLMs, and intelligent semantic integration and governance of big data. To date, she has published almost 20 papers in core international journals and conferences as the lead or corresponding author and holds 6 authorized invention patents. Her accolades include a Best Research Paper Award at a prestigious international conference in 2022 (ranked first). She has led or participated in 9 high-level research initiatives, including EU projects, the National Key R&D Program of China, and provincial-level projects. Currently, she serves as an editorial board member for an international journal, a program committee member for several international conferences, and a reviewer for multiple high-impact SCI journals.
