Information

Zipeng Li is a Lecturer at the School of Information Engineering, Nanchang University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research interests include wireless networked control, novel reconfigurable antenna systems, communication-sensing-computing-control co-design, and 6G intelligent wireless networks.

In recent years, he has conducted research on intelligent wireless networks, wireless networked control systems, and novel reconfigurable antenna technologies. He has published more than 10 SCI/EI-indexed papers, including first-author papers in journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and IEEE International Conference on Communications. He has been granted 2 national invention patents. He has also led projects funded by the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Nanchang University Young Talent Development Program, and the Nanchang University Teaching Reform Research Program, and has participated in several national research projects.

Undergraduate students are warmly welcome to participate in research training, academic competitions, and innovation projects. Students who are interested in wireless communications, 6G, wireless networked control, novel antenna technologies, AI-assisted wireless communication optimization, research papers, or academic competitions are encouraged to get in touch.

Undergraduate students may start with basic tasks such as reading English research papers, conducting MATLAB/Python simulations, reproducing algorithms, writing in LaTeX, preparing technical reports, and discussing competition topics. Students with a solid foundation and strong self-motivation may further participate in research projects, undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship training programs, academic competitions, graduation projects, and academic paper writing.

Currently, the main opportunities for undergraduate students include two categories: research training and academic competitions.

For research training, the main topics include wireless networked control, novel reconfigurable antenna systems, information freshness analysis, communication and control co-design, and AI-assisted wireless communication optimization. Undergraduate students can participate in English paper reading, MATLAB/Python simulation, algorithm reproduction, system modeling, experimental result analysis, and academic writing training, thereby gradually developing skills in modeling, optimization, simulation, and paper writing for frontier communication systems.

For academic competitions, students are welcome to develop projects on topics such as AI-enabled wireless communications, 6G intelligent communication systems, wireless networked control simulation platforms, novel antenna-assisted communication systems, and MATLAB/Python-based research simulation and algorithm implementation. These topics can be further developed into undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship training programs, Challenge Cup projects, Internet+ competition projects, mathematical modeling competitions, electronic design competitions, or graduation project topics.

Students are not expected to have a strong research background at the beginning. What matters more is active learning, sustained commitment, steady progress, and the willingness to solve problems. Students who wish to gain early research experience, participate in competitions, build project experience, or prepare for graduate recommendation, postgraduate entrance examinations, employment, or graduation projects are welcome to contact me.
