Biography
Dr. Rongpei Zhou is an Associate Professor at Nanchang University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering from Central South University in December 2020. From October 2019 to October 2020, he conducted research as a joint Ph.D. student in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, Canada, collaborating with Professor Xinzhi Liu. In 2023, he was awarded a general grant from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to support his postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Research Interests
Dr. Zhou's research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and automation. His current research interests include:
*Networked control systems
*Multi-agent systems
*Reinforcement learning
*Networked evolutionary games
*Image encryption and signal processing
Grants & Professional Service
He is the Principal Investigator (PI) for two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province.
Dr. Zhou serves as a committee member of the Logical Systems Control Group under the Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation (CAA). He is also an active reviewer for numerous international academic journals.
