Xiao-Xiao Song, female, born in 1990, is a member of the Communist Party of China. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the College of Food Science at Northeast Agricultural University, and obtained her Ph.D. from the College of Food Science and Nutritional Engineering at China Agricultural University. In 2021, she joined the College of Food Science at Nanchang University. She has been selected for provincial and ministerial-level talent programs and appointed as a Science and Technology Commissioner in the agricultural sector of Jiangxi Province. Additionally, she serves as a committee member of the Agricultural Products Processing and Storage Branch of the Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies. Her current research focuses on the stabilization, delivery, and absorption of nutritional functional factors, deep processing and value-added utilization of selenium-enriched agricultural products, among other areas. She has led eight national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth and General Programs), Key R&D Program projects of Jiangxi Province, a sub-project under Jiangxi’s “Unveiling and Commandering” Key R&D Initiative, a sub-task of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Technology Research Program, and the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation. She has also supervised three industry-sponsored collaborative projects. In recent years, she has published over 50 academic papers, including 20 as first or corresponding author in journals such as *Journal of Controlled Release* and *Chemical Engineering Journal*. She has secured recognition for one scientific and technological achievement, filed 15 patent applications, and obtained two authorized patents. She was awarded the Special Prize for Graduate Teaching Achievements at Nanchang University.
