InformationZhibin Qiu was born in Jiangxi Province, China in 1991. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and automation, and the Ph.D. degree in high voltage and insulation technology from the School of Electrical Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China in 2011 and 2016, respectively.
In 2018, he completed his postdoctoral research from Wuhan University. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Energy and Electrical Engineering, Nanchang University, Nanchang, China. His research interests include air gap discharge and external insulation, computational high voltage engineering, electrical equipment condition evaluation, computer vision and artifical intelligence technology in power system, and distribution network planning and design, etc. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, CSEE, and CES.
