RESEARCH INTERESTS
Sphingolipidomics; sphingolipid metabolism in aging and diseases
My research centers on two core interactions: (1) crosstalk between endogenous and exogenous sphingolipids, and (2) interactions between sphingolipids and proteins at the plasma membrane. The goal is to achieve a mechanistic understanding of sphingolipid functions in human health and disease, with the aim of advancing routine clinical diagnostics and personalized healthcare.
In parallel, my lab is dedicated to translating natural bio‑active sphingolipids and their derivatives into applications across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics, exploring their bioactivities and translational potential in these fields.
