Rao Zhenggang, Ph.D. in Engineering, Master's Supervisor, Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2008, master's degree from Wuhan University of Technology from 2009 to 2011, and Ph.D. from Wuhan University of Technology in 2015. He joined Nanchang University in the same year of obtaining his Ph.D. He is mainly engaged in the research of photothermal applications of porous materials and application research of microwave dielectric ceramics. Up to now, he has published more than 10 papers as the first author or corresponding author in international authoritative journals such as Desalination, J. Mater. Chem. A, Appl. Surf. Sci., and J. Mater. Chem. C. He has presided over 2 Natural Science Foundation projects of Jiangxi Province and 3 horizontal projects. He won the "Ceramic Technology Innovation Talent Award" from the Ceramic Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society in 2020; he teaches professional courses such as "Fundamentals of Materials Science" and "Physical Chemistry", and has won awards such as "Young Post Expert" and "Excellent Teaching Quality Award" of Nanchang University.
