Jianhua Yang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, serves as a member of the 7th Academic Committee of Nanchang University. He also holds multiple academic and professional roles, including member of the Engineering Blasting Professional Committee of the Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society, member of the Engineering Blasting Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, member of the Rock Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, senior technical expert advisor for China Energy Engineering Group Gezhouba Explosive Co., Ltd., Associate Editor of the journal Frontiers in Earth Science, and editorial board member of thejournal Blasting. His primary research and teaching focus on engineering blasting and rock dynamics. He has led over 20 national and provincial research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects under the National Key Research and Development Program, and the Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Youth Foundation. His academic contributions include one monograph, more than 100 SCI/EI-indexed papers, and 24 authorized invention patents. He has received several prestigious awards, such as the Special Prize for Science and Technology Progress from the Chinese Society for Dam Engineering, the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress from the China National Coal Association, the First Prize for Science and Technology Progress from the China Blasting Association, and the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Hubei Province.
