She is a Leading Academic and Technical Talent in Key Disciplines of Jiangxi Province, Outstanding Doctor of Jiangxi Province, Ganjiang Young Scholar of Nanchang University, Visiting Scholar at the University of Queensland, Australia, and Project Evaluation Expert of Nanchang Science and Technology Bureau.

Her main research interests focus on the utilization and development of new food resources and modification of food macromolecules. She has presided over 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as 10 other projects including the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province, the Young Talent Project of the State Key Laboratory of Food Science and Technology, the Young Talent Project of the Training Program for Leading Academic and Technical Talents in Key Disciplines of Jiangxi Province, and enterprise horizontal cooperation projects. In addition, she has served as co-principal investigator for 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 sub-project of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan Support Program, and 1 Public Welfare Industry Research Project of the Ministry of Agriculture of China.

She has published more than 40 papers in core journals and above, among which over 30 papers are indexed by SCI and EI. She also participated in compiling Encyclopedia of China. Her academic achievements have earned her the following awards:
