Personal Information

Lei Bin, a professor with a doctorate, is a doctoral supervisor and currently serves as the deputy director of the Department of Civil Engineering at the School of Engineering and Construction, Nanchang University. He has been selected for provincial and ministerial-level talent programs and the CSC Senior Research Scholar Program. His research mainly focuses on the resource utilization of construction waste, the durability of concrete structures, the recycling technology of pavement materials, and the environmental impact assessment of the entire life cycle of structures. He is a member of the Recycled Concrete Professional Committee of the China Civil Engineering Society and the Construction Waste Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Silicate. He is also an expert in the Jiangxi Province Environmental Impact Assessment Technical Evaluation Expert Database, the Jiangxi Province High-tech Enterprise Evaluation Expert Database, and the Jiangxi Province Energy Conservation Standardization Expert Database. In recent years, he has been engaged in research on the resource utilization of construction waste, the durability of concrete structures, the recycling technology of pavement materials, and the environmental impact assessment of the entire life cycle of structures. He led the compilation of the Jiangxi Provincial Local Standard "Technical Standard for the Application of Recycled Aggregate Concrete". He has presided over more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level projects, including a National Natural Science Foundation project, and nearly 20 enterprise-commissioned projects. As a key member of the research team, he participated in one National 863 Program project, one Ministry of Science and Technology Science and Technology Support Program project, one Ministry of Education New Century Talent Program project, and two National Natural Science Foundation projects. He has won the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Progress Award for Universities. He has published nearly 100 core journal papers as the first author or corresponding author, among which more than 40 have been indexed by SCI. He has been granted over 20 invention patents. He was invited to write one chapter of an English monograph. He has guided students to win more than 10 national awards in discipline competitions, including the Bronze Award of the China International "Internet +" Competition.
