Dr. Yuhuan Liu, Researcher (Senior Level 3), Doctoral Supervisor, is a permanent member of the State Key Laboratory of Food Science and Resource Exploitation, Member of the China Algae Industry Association, Member of the Chinese Society for Microbiology, Standing Director of the China Pig Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, Member of the Chinese Nutrition Society, Standing Director of the Jiangxi Ecological Aquaculture Society, Expert of the Technical Guidance Panel for Agricultural Non‑point Source Pollution Control in the Yangtze River Economic Belt of Jiangxi Province, Advisory Board Member of foods, and an outstanding reviewer for journals including Bioresource Technology.  He has led more than 20 major research projects at provincial and national levels, including the Major Special Project of Jiangxi Province; General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; National 863 Program Projects; International Cooperation and Exchange Projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology; and General Social Development Projects of Nanchang Municipality. Her research achievements have been recognized with numerous awards: one Second Prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, one Second Prize of Provincial Natural Science Award, one Third Prize of Provincial Science and Technology Invention Award, one First Prize of Scientific and Technological Achievements from Universities in Jiangxi Province, four prefectural/provincial-level Science and Technology Progress Awards, one Second Prize of Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, and two Third Prizes of Provincial Teaching Achievement Award. In recent years, jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, she accomplished large‑scale engineering technology research and equipment development for co‑fermentation of crop straw and livestock manure to produce biogas, reaching internationally advanced levels. She has published 214 peer reviewed research papers and contributed as coauthor to six monographs. His H-index is 57, and in 2025 he was selected for the latest “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list in the field of biotechnology.
