Qingting Wei, Female, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Deputy Director of the Software Engineering Department, Master's Supervisor. Graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Applied Technology from Tongji University in 2013. Primary research areas include intelligent computing and bioinformatics. Selected into the "Ganjiang Young Scholar" program under Nanchang University's 215 Talent Project in 2015. From 2017 to 2018, conducted research as a state-sponsored visiting scholar at the Bioinformatics and Computational Life Sciences Laboratory, University of Kansas, USA. Senior member of the China Computer Federation (CCF); Program Committee member of the IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM); Executive Committee member of the CCF Bio-3News Young Scholars Symposium; and reviewer for journals such as Briefings in Bioinformatics and IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics.


She has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international academic journals and conferences, authored one professional textbook, currently leads one National Natural Science Foundation Regional Project and one Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Project, and has undertaken over 10 additional national, provincial, university-level, and industry-sponsored projects. Holds one authorized invention patent and received one Second Prize of Science and Technology Award from the Ministry of Education. Awarded the Nanchang University Teaching Excellence Award twice, supervised three National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Programs, guided students to win approximately 20 national and provincial disciplinary competition awards, and was recognized as an Outstanding Undergraduate Supervisor at Nanchang University four times.
