Dr. AN Li is a Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Information Engineering, Nanchang University, where she also serves as the leader of a National First-Class Undergraduate Major and a National First-Class Undergraduate Course. Recognized as a provincial high-level talent and a University Distinguished Teacher, she is an IEEE Senior Member. Her research focuses on the integration of 5G and AI, cooperative transmission strategies based physical-layer security, UAV communications, intelligent reflecting surface-assisted wireless communications, and optimization algorithms. She has achieved a series of innovative results with broad application prospects in next-generation wireless communication systems.

Dr. Li spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, half a year as a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore, and one year as a visiting professor at the University of Kent. She has published over 40 papers, with 30 indexed in SCI/EI, including one ESI highly cited paper and one Top 50 Outstanding Paper Award from the Journal of Electronics & Information Technology in 2022. She holds 6 invention patents and 2 software copyrights. She has taken four National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects and 16 provincial projects.

She took one national-level and one provincial-level first-class undergraduate course, has taken ten provincial teaching reform projects, and authored two teaching reform papers in ‌Peking University Core Journals. Her graduate students have been awarded four provincial innovation fund projects, and undergraduate teams she has mentored have won over 180 national and provincial awards in competitions such as the Datang Cup, Huawei ICT, embedded chip and system design contests, and China Robot Competition—earning her multiple Outstanding Mentor awards.

Dr. Li holds leadership roles including Vice Chair of the Jiangxi IoT Industry Association, Supervisor of the Jiangxi Communication Society, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Urban Safety Information Society, and is a Senior Member of the China Communications Society and the Chinese Institute of Electronics. She is a Huawei HCIP-IoT Senior Developer and Certified Instructor, a peer reviewer for NSFC, a Big Data Expert for Jiangxi Province. She serves on the evaluation panels for science and technology awards in Jiangxi, Guangdong, Shanxi, and Henan provinces, as well as for high-tech enterprise certification and non-state-owned enterprise senior professional titles. Her international service includes serving as TPC member for IEEE flagship conferences like ICC’17, ICC’20, and Globecom’16, and as an anonymous reviewer for journals such as IEEE Trans. IFS, IEEE TVT, IEEE Access, IEEE WCL, Signal Processing, and IET Communications.
