Administrative & Academic Positions

Male, Ph.D., Professor and Master’s Supervisor at Nanchang University. He currently serves as the person in charge of the national first-class undergraduate major of Electronic and Information Engineering, director of Communication Experiment Center (Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center), deputy director of the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, and deputy director of Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Intelligent Systems and Human-Computer Interaction. He is also in charge of the research direction of autonomous navigation robot perception and embedded artificial intelligence.

He has long been engaged as a review expert for science and technology projects and awards in multiple provinces, as well as evaluation expert of Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province and Nanchang Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. Meanwhile, he works as an anonymous reviewer for many internationally authoritative journals and conferences including IEEE TIM and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Research Fields & Academic Achievements

His research focuses on embedded artificial intelligence, robot autonomous navigation and other cutting-edge fields meeting major national strategic needs. He cooperates with medical and information enterprises to develop remote intelligent medical systems and promotes the practical application and transformation of technical achievements.

He has presided over and participated in more than ten research projects such as National 863 Program, National 973 Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangxi Provincial Key Research and Development Program and Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and completed a number of major horizontal cooperation projects. He adheres to the integration of industry and education, feeds teaching with scientific research, and integrates frontier technologies into whole-process talent training, forming the integrated talent training mode of curriculum, competition and research supported by industry-education collaboration.

At present, he is presiding over one ongoing Jiangxi provincial key research and development project in intelligent clinical medicine with the arrived fund of one million RMB, one provincial natural science foundation project and one major horizontal project in intelligent equipment field. He has published more than 20 academic papers including 10 SCI-indexed papers, and obtained 4 national authorized patents. His research team was selected as Jiangxi outstanding innovative entrepreneurial talent team in VR industry. His industry-education integration achievements won the Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2021 and the First Prize in 2024.

Teaching Work & Educational Achievements

Dedicating to the new engineering education reform, he innovatively practiced the three-in-one teaching mode of curriculum, competition and innovation. He presides over one provincial first-class course and delivers lectures on one national first-class course, and has won the school-level excellent teaching quality award for nine times. He has undertaken seven provincial and ministerial-level teaching reform research projects including five presided projects, and three industry-education collaborative education projects issued by the Ministry of Education. He has established long-term stable industry-education cooperative relations with leading enterprises including Huawei Hisilicon and Shanghai Realtek, and compiled one traditional textbook and one digital textbook respectively.

His intelligent teaching designs have participated in various national and provincial teaching innovation competitions, winning one national first prize, two national third prizes, one Jiangxi provincial second prize and the first prize of Nanchang University teaching innovation competition.

He has guided postgraduates to finish two postgraduate innovation projects and six national college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship training programs. Under his guidance, students have won more than 110 national and provincial discipline competition awards including 45 national-level awards. He has been awarded Excellent Instructor many times and won the Special Outstanding Teacher Award of Zhonghui Zhiyan. He has continuously carried out the three-stage progressive teaching reform of modular stratification, domestic cases and digital intelligence empowerment, and obtained the first and second prizes of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.
