Visible light communication (VLC) and optical camera communication (OCC) in mobile/vehicular environments

Principal Investigator for multiple national and provincial research projects (e.g., NSFC, post-doctoral fund, provincial major platforms)

Invention patents in areas such as vehicle CAN network security, optical camera communication synchronization, VLC-based systems

Lead mentor of the WULAB research group: an active, upward-looking lab culture with weekly meetings and structured mentoring for graduate and undergraduate students
